Allan M. Bishop, age 71, passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at his home in McCook, NE.
Allan was born to Archie M. and Regina “Maxine” (Carpenter) Bishop on May 30, 1945 in Denver, CO. He graduated from McCook High School in 1961.
Allan enjoyed farming. In his free time he loved following his grandchildren’s activities, showing cattle and roping.
Allan is survived by his sons, Mark and Brenda Bishop of Rudy, AR, Michael Bishop of Hamlet, NE, and Christopher and Samantha Bishop of Denver, CO; as well as his four grandchildren, Kayla, Alek, Austin and Haleigh.
He was preceded by his parents.
Visitation will be Saturday, one hour prior to the Funeral Service, beginning at 10AM.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, February 4, 2017, Carpenter Breland Funeral Home with Terry McCorkle officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Wauneta, NE.
Memorials may be given in Allan’s name to your local FFA chapter or 4-H club of your choice.
