Anna Bell Lenhart, of Firestone, CO, formerly of Indianola, died Friday, September 9, 2005 near Smithfield, NE. She was 72 years old.
Anna Bell was born on March 5, 1933, at Bushong, KS to Arthur Olin and Anna Bell (Dotson) Deller.
On December 23, 1950, she married Floyd Stewart Lenhart at Yates Center, KS. To this union six children were born. They made their home in Garden City, KS. Anna Bell was a busy homemaker as well as owner/operator of Lenhart Sweet Shoppe for 40 years where she made specialty cakes and candies. She enjoyed fishing, camping and gardening in her free time.
Anna Bell was a member of the Moose and Eagles Lodge in Garden City. She later moved to Indianola where she lived for six years. She was a member of the McCook Egan Baptist Church. Anna Bell was living in Firestone with her daughter at the time of her death.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Floyd; her parents, Arthur and Anna Bell Deller; one brother, Arthur Deller and one sister, Florence Deller.
Survivors include one son, Michael Dean Lenhart and wife, Jacque, of Bedford, IA; five daughters, Betty Ann and husband, Ben Walker, of Bertrand, Gail Irean and husband, Andy Langer, of Firestone, CO, Brenda Sue and husband, Randy Grubbs, of Hugoton, KS, Gwen Janine and husband, Bernie Hahn, of Liberal, KS and Anita Diane and husband, Don Yates, of Loveland, CO; one brother, David Deller of Burns, OR; four sisters, Viola and husband, Ocie Williamson, of Rogers, AR, Hazel and husband, Harold Sumstine, of Stover, MO, Mary Evelyn Chrisman of Warrensburg, MO and Lorraine and husband, Dale Burson, of Chillicothe, MO; 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, and two more on the way.
Memorials were to be given in her name to the American Breast Cancer Society.
Graveside services were Wednesday, September 14, 2005, 10:30 a.m. at the Indianola Cemetery with Mike Roth officiating. Burial in the Indianola Cemetery.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
