Arline N. Green, age 84, died Saturday, March 24, 2007, at McCook Community Hospital.
She was born June 6, 1922 to Lester L. and Nell M. (Mader) Kramer at Grand Island, Nebraska. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1939, and McCook Community College in 1975.
She married William E. Green on April 17, 1943 in Washington D.C.
She was a member of First Congregational Church, Past President Nebraska PTA, and many school organizations, Adult Basic Education at McCook College, Post Matron of Order of Eastern Star, and an avid bridge player.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son; sister, Velma Morgan; and brother-in-law, Dwight Lavere Morgan.
She is survived by her husband, William; children, Barbara Kay Lem of Pleasant Hill, CA, William E. Green, Jr. and wife, Sally Chris of Richland, Wash., Peggy Arline Mason of North Platte, Patty Ann Howard and husband, Tom of Derby, Kansas, Michael James Green and wife, Bev of McCook; niece, Diane L. Moran and husband, Terry; nephew, Dwight L. Morgan; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given in her name.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at First Congregational Church with Pastor Steve Bales officiating. Burial will be at Fort McPherson National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
