Barbara Ann Frisch

Barbara Ann Frisch, age 66, of McCook, NE passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011 at the Community Hospital in McCook.

Barbara was born November 30, 1944 in O’Neill, Nebraska to Sam and Clara (Grothe) Banks. She was one of six children.

Barbara married Arthur Frisch on June 2, 1963 in O’Neill. To this union two daughters were born.

Barbara enjoyed family gatherings, especially the holidays and Husker football games. She loved to dance and go camping in her younger days, as well as chase storms and she participated on a women’s bowling league. Barbara also enjoyed hand crafts and putting puzzles together. She was a member of the Methodist Faith.

Barbara is survived by her loving significant companion of the last seventeen years Wayne Dybdahl of McCook, NE; two daughters, Sandra and husband James Stotler of Holyoke, CO and Cindy and husband Darien Deuter of McCook, NE; step daughter Annette Dybdahl and her daughter Brittni of Pueblo, CO; three grandchildren, Malloriy Foster of Ogallala, NE, Makayla Frisch and son Conner of Culbertson, NE, and Tyler Frisch of Savannah, MO; and her mother-in-law Ethel Frisch of O’Neill, NE.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Bill, Pete, and Jay, and her two sisters Zelma and Helen.

A Memorial Gathering and Book Signing will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2011 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Carpenter-Breland Funeral Home in McCook, NE and also Thursday, September 8, 2011 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Biglin’s Funeral Home in O’Neill, NE.

Memorial services will be held Friday, September 9, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the O’Neill Methodist Church with Pastor Lance Clay, officiating. Burial of cremains will follow in the O’Neill Cemetery.
