Bertha L. Burnett, age 90, graduated this life on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Good Samaritan Society in Oberlin, KS.
Bertha was born January 24, 1925 to W.H. and Edna Mae (Kooken) Williams in Cherokee, OK. She graduated from Cherokee High School in 1943.
She married Olan Tegarden in Salinas, CA on January 8, 1944. To this union two children were born, Ronald and Carla. He died on August 14, 1987.
On September 4, 1994 she married Lyman J. Burnett in Arkansas City, KS. He died on March 3, 2008.
She was a member of Bible Christian Church and the American Legion Auxiliary in Arkansas City, KS.
Bertha enjoyed China painting, and during her younger years she liked to bowl and play golf.
Survivors include her son, Ronald Tegarden and wife, Joyce, of Zimmerman, MN; daughter, Carla Tidyman and husband, Larry, of Benkelman; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; brothers, Otto, Wesley and Glen; sisters, Sybil, Edith and Mary.
Inurnment will be in the Bryon-Amorita Cemetery in Amorita, OK at a later date with family.
