Betty Ann Jordan

Betty Ann Jordan left us Friday (August 11, 2006) at Community Hospital in McCook. She was 57 years old.

She was born in Monroe, WI on August 7, 1949 to Edward Leslie and Myrtle Leona (Olson) Robinson. She grew up in Fort Collins and graduated from Fort Collins High School in Fort Collins, CO in 1967.

Betty married Charles W. Jordan February 18, 1972 at Fort Collins. They have lived in McCook since 1987. To this union three children were born.

She enjoyed gardening and family especially her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her mother and her grandparents, Harry & Flossie Robinson and Albert & Ella Olson.

Survivors include: her husband, Charles of McCook; her children, Charles E. Jordan, Shawna Roth and friend Kevin and Crystl Chauncy and husband Curtis all of McCook; her father, Ed Robinson of Haigler; three brothers, Gene Robinson and wife Marilyn of Stockton, IL, Jerry Robinson and friend Amy of Cheyenne, WY and Shorty Robinson and wife Rachael of Marathon, TX; two sisters, Diane Robinson of McCook and Lonna Clegg and husband Steve of Haigler; four grand-children, Emmerie & Landyn Roth and Jordan and Jorlynn Chauncy; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Memorials were accepted in her name.

Funeral services were Monday 4 p.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Chapel with Allen Wilkersen officiating.

Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
