Beverly Ann Herron

May 10, 1932 — July 9, 2006

Beverly Ann Herron, age 74, died Sunday, July 9, 2006 at her home after a long battle with cancer.

She was born May 10, 1932 to George and Gladys (Brewer) Brumfield at St. Joseph, Missouri. She graduated from Manual High School in Denver, Colorado in 1950.

She married John M. Herron in Commerce City, Colorado on November 27, 1951. To this union one son, John Timothy, was born.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Past President and Treasurer of VFW Women’s Auxiliary, and a member of Good Sams Club. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, embroidery, and sewing, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Gladys Brumfield; sister, Darlene Sorenson; brother-in-law, Gordon Jones; two nephews, Kevin Bobka and Danny Sorenson.

Survivors include her husband, John M. of McCook; son, John Timothy Herron and wife, Pamela of McCook; grandchildren, John Jason Herron and wife, Jennifer of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Julie Ann Ellis and husband, Bill of Bartley, Jeremiah Herron and wife, Christina of Wayne, Jennifer Herron of McCook; and five great-grandchildren, Brenton, Kaitlynne and Tyler Ellis and Collin and Matthew Herron; brother, Ronald Brumfield and wife, Marlene of Great Falls, Montana; brother-in-law, Mel Sorenson of Ogden, Utah; sisters, Dorothy Sninsky, Wilma Bobka and husband, Richard all of Thornton, Colorado, Donna Jones of Grand Junction, Colorado; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials were to be given in her name.

Rosary was Thursday at 7:00 p.m.at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial took place Friday, July 14, 2006, 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father Gary Brethour officiating.

Carpenter Breland Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
