Buddy Lee Ahrens, age 57, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at his home in McCook.
Buddy was born on October 9, 1958 to Albert “Bud” and Helen Coraline (Matson) Ahrens in McCook. He graduated from McCook High School in 1977.
Buddy was a hot rod enthusiast and he loved to watch movies
Survivors include his son, Kenneth Ahrens of McCook and grandson, Erik Ahrenes; daughter, Elizabeth (Romeo) Ayalin of Ladonia, AL and their daughter, Lindsey; former spouse, Kristine Ahrens of Colby, KS; sisters, Susie Jarvis, Tammy Witt and Cindy Ahrens.
He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Sylvia Ahrens.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home with Terry McCorkle officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
