Calvin Eugene Campbell

Calvin Eugene Campbell, age 60, passed away January 1, 2016 at his home in Maywood.

Calvin was born February 18, 1955 in McCook, NE to Eugene Campbell and Muriel Janet (Koetter) Campbell. He lived in the Maywood – Curtis area all his life and worked for USPS at the time of his death.

He married Linda Kay Meissner of McCook on August 7, 1976 in Curtis, NE. Together they had six children; Delton Eugene, Dustin William, Bret Lee, Spencer Drew, Tempest Laree, and Cassidee Mariah.

Calvin served as an elder in the McCook Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was a great husband, father, brother, and friend to so very many.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and mother, Muriel.

Calvin is survived by his wife, Linda Campbell of Maywood; sons, Delton (Bethany) Campbell of Bocas Del Toro, Panama, Dustin, Bret, and Spencer Campbell all of Curtis, NE; daughters, Tempest (Adrian) Dimas of McCook, NE and Cassidee Campbell of Maywood, NE; two grandchildren, Colten and Ireland Campbell of Bocas Del Toro, Panama. He is also survived by his father, Eugene Campbell of Curtis, NE; sisters, Cathy of Ainsworth and Diane of Ladonia, TX; brothers, Doug, Ted and Tom Campbell of Curtis, NE; also many in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the McCook Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses with a dinner to follow immediately after at the Heritage Senior Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name.
