Biography
Carol Ann Moorhous, 69, died Thursday, February 2, 2006 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln.
Carol was born on May 25, 1936, to Rex Clifton and Evelyn Pearl (Harbaugh) Norris in McCook. She graduated from McCook High School in 1954.
On July 16, 1961, she married Keith Moorhous at McCook. To this union three children were born. They made their home in Culbertson where Carol was a homemaker. Carol was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed watching television, Nebraska football and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one sister, Lana Jean Morgan.
Survivors include her husband, Keith of Culbertson; one daughter, Kathy S. and husband, Robert Homolka, of Swanton; two sons, Jeffrey M. Moorhous and wife, Deb, of Culbertson and Randolph G. Moorhous and wife, Jody, of Sparks, NV; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
Memorials were to be given in her name to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
Funeral services were Tuesday, February 7, 2006, 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Culbertson, with Pastor Brad Rick officiating. Burial took place in the Culbertson Cemetery.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
