Charles Bud Clark

Charles “Bud” Clark, age 81, of Hayes Center, NE, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024 in Grand Island, NE.

Bud was born December 12, 1942 in Hayes Center to parents Orren and Metta L. (Porter) Clark. Charles attended school in Hayes Center, graduating in 1960. Following high school, Charles enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served his country from 1964 until his honorably discharge in 1966.

Bud married Rosetta “Rosy” (Witt) Clark in McCook, NE. To this union one son was born, Charles “Charlie” Clark.

Bud was a member of the Hayes Center VFW and enjoyed hunting, farming and tending to his cattle.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Rosy Clark.

Those left to celebrate his life include his son, Clarlie Clark of Hayes Center, NE.

Visitation will be held from 5 to7pm on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home, McCook.

Graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 11am on Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Hayes Center Cemetery, Hayes Center, NE with Pastor Jean Miller officiating.
