Charles “Chuck” Eugene Stewart, 47, of Kearney, died Monday, August 16, 2004 at his parent’s home in McCook.
Chuck was born on August 4, 1957, at Alliance to William Arthur and Bettye Anne (Solace) Stewart. He graduated from McCook High School in 1976. He attended Mid- Plains Community College in North Platte and graduated with an Associates Degree in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technology.
On February 14, 1981, he married DeeAnna Sauer in McCook. To this union a daughter, Sheree was born. He moved to Denver where he lived for 10 years. He relocated to Kearney where he was employed in construction work.
He was an avid fisherman; enjoyed playing cards and pool; and fan of football especially the Nebraska Huskers and Denver Broncos.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Robert and Randall Stewart.
Survivors include his parents, Bill and Bettye Stewart of McCook; a daughter, Sheree Stewart of Ogallala; and two brothers, Michael Stewart of Houston, TX and Dennis Stewart of Kearney.
Memorials may be given in his name.
Funeral service will be at Carpenter Breland Chapel on Friday, August 20, 2004, 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Thurman officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be today until 5:00 p.m. and Thursday 9:00 until 8:00 p.m.
