Claudia Louise Taylor was born July 12, 1938 in Omaha to Emil and Anna (Norlen) Hult. She passed away July 9, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney at the age of 70 years.

Claudia grew up in Omaha. She was confirmed at First Covenant Church. She graduated from Omaha North in 1956 and then attended Doane College.

On January 30, 1961, Claudia and Roger L. Taylor were united in marriage in Kansas City, Kan. They moved to McCook in 1966. Claudia worked for many years at the McCook Clinic.

Claudia was a deacon at First Congregational Church and was involved in all church activities. She was an active member of P.E.O. Chapter X. She always enjoyed attending her grandkids' activities, playing bridge, sewing, crossword puzzles and pie night.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Lloyd Hult and sister Hattie Kusleika.

Survivors include her husband Roger of McCook; daughter Traci Taylor of McCook; son David and wife Andela Taylor of Cambridge; daughter Jill and husband Brad Geisler of McCook; son Andrew Taylor of Portland, OR; grandchildren Taylor and Kyle Geisler of McCook , Joe and Olivia Taylor of Cambridge; sisters, Virginia Carpenter and Laurena and husband Jack McDonald all of Omaha; brothers, Earl and wife Edie Hult, Robert and wife Michelle Hult all of Omaha, Charles and wife Shari Hult of Bella Vista, AR; many nieces and nephews.

Memorials services were Monday, July 13, 2009, at the First Congregational Church in McCook with Pastor Steve Bales officiating.

Carpenter Breland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
