Cody Raymond Coats died Friday, August 18, 2006, at Danbury as a result of a vehicle accident. He was 14 years old.
Cody was born on September 3, 1991, at Ogden, Utah to David Todd Dominguez and Debbie Sue Hodson. He was living at Danbury at the time of his death.
Cody was a member of the sophomore class at Southwest Public Schools. He enjoyed playing pool, riding bikes and making videos.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Otis and Louise Hodson and paternal grandfather, William Dominguez.
Survivors include his mother, Debbie Coats of Danbury; his father, David Dominguez of Ogden, UT; one sister, Alexis Coats and husband, Isaac Weyeneth of McCook; two brothers, Bryan and Devin Coats of Danbury; grandmother, Roma Dominguez of Ogden; aunts and uncles, Anna and Doug Smith of Aurora, CO, Monna Pepper of Cedaredge, CO, Linda and Mike Houghton of Aurora, Betty Hodson of Craig, CO, Kathy and Randy Tabuchi of Rock Springs, WY and Bill and Jackie Hodson of Cedaredge; and his beloved dog, Ross.
Memorials may be given in his name.
Funeral services were Monday, August 21, 2006, 2:00 p.m. at Carpenter Breland Chapel with Rev. Keith Theobald officiating. Burial took place in the Danbury-Marion Cemetery.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
