Connie Jo Hylton

Connie Jo Hylton, age 56, of McCook, NE passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE.

Connie was born June 15, 1963 in Kearney to parents Carl D. and Ellen Joyce (Deardorff) Hamm. She was one of four siblings born to this union.  Connie graduated from Friend High School in Friend, NE with the Class of 1980.

On January 5, 1983, Connie married Kevin Hylton in Wilbur, NE. To this union three children were born; son, Chris, and daughters, Elizabeth and Julie.  Connie served as an EMT on the Geneva Fire and Rescue Squad from 1987-2001.  In 2004, the family relocated to McCook.  Connie enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cross stitch and collecting Thomas Kinkade memorabilia.

Connie was a member of the Geneva Assembly of God Church and also attended the First Assembly of God Church in McCook as her health allowed.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to celebrate her life include her husband, Kevin Hylton of McCook; son, Chris (April) Hylton of Bartley, NE; daughters, Elizabeth (Fredrick) Wilson of McCook and Julie (Shawn) Terwilliger of Stratton, NE; brother, Rusty (Anna) Hamm of Aurora, NE; sisters, Brenda Hamm of North Loop, NE and Penny Baker of Burwell, NE; as well as her eleven grandchildren, McKenna, Ben, Emily, Candice, Jãzlin, Derek, Jesse, Jaxon, Holly, Travis and Samantha.
