Dallas D. McMichael

Dallas D. McMichael, age 67, of Culbertson, NE passed away at his home in rural Hitchcock County on Sunday, April 17, 2022.

Dallas was born November 6, 1954 in Cozad, NE to parents Herbert P. and Maxine P. (Kahler) McMichael.  He was one of six children.  Dallas graduated from McCook High School with the Class of 1974.

Dallas was a lifetime NRA member who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time boating at the lake with his family and dogs.

Dallas was preceded in death by his parents; youngest son, Travis McMichael; brothers, Blaine Andrews and Lloyd Clark; and his brother in law, David Hanes.

Those left to celebrate his life include his son, Doug McMichael of Murdock, NE; sisters, Gale Hanes of Culbertson, Janice Bailey  and Janet (Terry) Smith, all of Loveland, CO; and his four grandchildren, Kaylee Melvin, Justin Warburton, Chloe McMichael and Jamesyn McMichael.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
