Danny R. Sines, 56 of McCook, died Sunday March 18, 2007 at Community Hospital in McCook.
He was born in McCook to Virgil E. and Edith (Dawson) Sines on September 23, 1950. He graduated from McCook High School in 1969.
He married Carolyn Meixner on June 23, 1995 at the First Assembly of God Church in McCook. He worked at Valmont for 5 years, he also worked for Outdoor Sports Gun Shop, and United Supplies. His hobbies included guns, hunting, and fishing. He collected hot wheel cars.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edith; and brother, Gene.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn of McCook; his father, Virgil Sines of Cambridge; step-son, Dennis Mizell and wife, Sareth of Shreveport, Texas; step-daughter, Christy Lesher and husband, Scott of Grand Island; step brother, Lawrence "Sonny" Cochran of Tucumcari, New Mexico; step-grandchildren, Casey Lesher, Jessica Mizell, Andrew Mizell.
Memorials may be given in his name.
Funeral services were Friday, March 23, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Assembly of God with Pastor Eddie Wright officiating. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
