Dawnn Denise Bonebright died at her home in Lincoln on Sunday, September 19, 2004. She was 39 years old.
Dawnn was born on March 8, 1965, in McCook to Willard LaVern and MarraLee (McConnell) Blake. She graduated from McCook High School in 1983.
On March 29, 1985, she married Curtis Bonebright in Lincoln. To this union two sons were born. Dawn was employed as a housekeeper at Lincoln General Hospital for a number of years. For the past 12 years she was a secretary for First Step.
She was a Husker fan and collector of Husker memorabilia. She loved animals especially her dogs.
Her father, Willard Blake, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her mother, MarraLee McBee of McCook; two sons, Christopher and Nicholas Bonebright of Lincoln; four brothers, Terry Blake and wife, Wenda, of Denver, Kirt and Todd Blake of McCook, and Brian Blake of Denver; grandmother, Marjorie Hall of McCook; and 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
Memorials may be given in her name.
A memorial service was held Thursday, September 30, 2004, at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln,
Also, a memorial service was held on Saturday, October 2, 2004, at Carpenter Breland Chapel, McCook, with Jerry Beckenhauer officiating. Inurnment took place at Memorial Park Cemetery.
