Delores Darlene Dutcher, 75, died Tuesday, November 23, 2004, at her home in Culbertson.
Delores was born on September 12, 1929, on a farm north of Gothenburg, to Martin John and Lillian Ann (Beller) Ostendorf. She received her GED in 1978.
On March 4, 1955 she married Jesse "Dutch" M. Dutcher at Denver, Colorado. Together they raised their two children, Lavone and Jesse. Delores was employed as a prep-cook for Mac's Drive-In for 25 years retiring in 1995.
She was a member of the Culbertson United Methodist Church and Veteran's of Foreign War Auxiliary.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Martin and Lillian Ostendorf; step-mother, Eunice Ostendorf; her husband Jesse on August 27, 1999; and brother, Max Burley.
Survivors include her son, Jesse Dutcher and wife, Rebecca, of McCook; daughter Lavone and husband, Anthony Rozmiarek of McCook; brother, Leo Ostendorf and wife, Deb, of Eagle River, AK; sisters, Norma Jean Scott of Gothenburg, Mae Wallin of Hastings and Esther Sawicki of Lincoln; sister-in-law Clara Margaret Aman of Cambridge; step-brothers, Cecil Kimball of Culbertson and Marlin Kimball of Ottawa, KS; step-sisters, Dorothy Cole of Ottawa, KS and Delores Wagner of Colorado Springs, CO; uncle, Clarence Ostendorf of Gothenburg; 9 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and faithful friend, Tippy, her dog.
Memorials may be given in her name.
Funeral services were Saturday, November 27, 2004, at the Culbertson United Methodist Church with Rev. Daniel Spearow officiating. Burial took place at the Culbertson Cemetery.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
