Dennis Walters

Dennis R. Walters, age 59, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Dennis was born in McCook on November 9, 1955 to Veryl and Eleanor (Kircher) Walters. He graduated from Decatur Community High School in 1973.
Dennis married Theresa Conroy on April 16, 1977 in McCook. To this union one son was born. She passed away February 22, 2007.
He married Charlotte Smith in Las Vegas on August 20, 2008.
He enjoyed watching sports, especially NASCAR, playing pool, farming, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his grandson and friends and family.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte of Danbury; son, Ryan (Hannah) Walters of North Platte; brother, Rodney (Lee Tillman) Walters; sister, Michele (Billy) Witt of McCook; grandchildren, Dustin Rhodig, Jr and Quincey Walters.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Theresa Walters; and step-son, Dustin Rhodig, Sr.
Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2015 from 4:00 – 8:00 with the family greeting friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Saturday, 10:30 a.m., January 3, 2015 at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Griger officiating. Inurnment will be in the Danbury-Marion Cemetery at a later date.
