Donald W. Bunnell, age 64 of Culbertson passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in McCook, NE.
Donald was born on March 9, 1953 in Rapid City, South Dakota to James and Viola (Hawks) Kwik.
Donald joined the United States Army in August of 1973 and was honorably discharged in August of 1975. He was a proud Veteran.
Donald moved to Culbertson in 2005 from South Dakota. He worked for the Frenchman Valley Coop and Kugler Company until his recent retirement.
Donald enjoyed mechanical work, painting, yard work and gardening. He was very generous and gave many people his garden produce. Donald was a humble person who was always willing to lend an ear to anyone or help in anyway needed. He made everyone around him laugh and especially enjoyed children. Donald loved nature and taking care of animals.
Donald is survived by his girlfriend Shannon Clouse and her family of Culbertson, and one son David of South Dakota.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held Monday, April 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, NE.
Memorials contributions are suggested in his name in care of Carpenter-Breland Funeral Home for a future designation.
