Biography
Doris Lee Dodot died Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook. She was 74 years old.
Doris was born on January 30, 1934 in McCook to Leo and Grace (Woods) Stevens. She graduated from McCook High School in 1952.
On June 12, 1971, she married Wayne L. Dodot. They made their home in McCook where Doris worked for McCook National Bank as a teller for 15 years.
She was a member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church. She enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, crocheting and needlework.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Leo and Grace Stevens; one brother, William Stevens; and one step-son, Rodney Dodot.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Dodot of McCook; one son, Robert French of the Bahamas; step-daughter, Janet and husband, Emment Hoskins of Hemet, CA; and one step-grandson, Danny Dodot of Thornton, CO.
Memorials were to be given in her name.
Memorial services were Friday, May 9, 2008, 10:30 a.m. at St. Alban's Episcopal Church with The Rev. Mary Hendricks. Inurnment took place in St. Alban's Columbarium.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
