Dorothy K. Graff of McCook died Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Community Hospital. She was 92 years old.
Dorothy was born on January 26, 1915 at Indianola to Henry J. and Mabel (Williams) Weskamp. She attended school in Danbury and graduated from high school in 1934.
On August 31, 1940, Dorothy married Martin Graff, Jr. in McCook. They resided in McCook except for their 15 year residence in Denver, CO. She was a homemaker and also worked for Safeway Groceries for 20 years.
Dorothy was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church. She enjoyed baking, gardening, quilting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Henry and Mabel Williams; her husband, Martin Graff, Jr. on January 9, 2007; one brother, Elmer Weskamp; and one sister, Vernice Weskamp.
Survivors include her daughter, Verlene K. and husband, Steven Reed, of Plano, TX; three sons, Stanley M. Graff and wife, Diana, of Scottsdale, AZ, Kenneth M. Graff, and wife, Kathy, of Denver, CO and Richard H. and wife, Anita, of McCook; sister, Elsie Sullivan of McCook; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the McCook Heritage Senior Center or Memorial United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Thurman officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
