Dorothy Pauline (Blair) Lytle died Friday, January 8, 2010 at Cambridge Manor. She was 86 years old.
Dorothy was born on December 7, 1923, in McCook to Clair E. and Iva E. (Winters) Blair. She lived in McCook all of her life.
On July 28, 1942, she was united in marriage to Marvin Dale Lytle in McCook. She was a busy homemaker and mother to their two children, Kip and Gena. She also worked at Woolworth's, JC Penney and for CB&Q Railroad. She retired in 1982.
Dorothy enjoyed camping, boating, crocheting and flower gardening. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Marvin Lytle on October 8, 1998; her parents, Clair and Iva Blair; and brother, Paul Blair.
Survivors include her son, Kip Lytle and wife, Cheryl, of Indianola; daughter, Gena and husband, Joel Power, of Blue Springs, MO; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, Brian Lytle and his children, Thad and Bailee; Christy Lytle and her children, Trevor, Karissa, Tyler, Trey and Riley; Stacy and Josh Price and their children, Tanner and Preston; Jason Lytle; Shelby Lytle; Selina and Dan Mulder and their children, Logan, Boone, Hailee and Tucker; Erica and Robert Rios; and Lucas Power; and sister-in-law, Florence Lytle of Twin Falls, ID.
Memorials were to be given in her name.
Funeral services were Tuesday, January 12, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at Carpenter Breland Chapel with Pastor Steve Bales officiating. Burial took place in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
