Dr. Robert M. McCosh, age 89, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at his home in McCook.
He was born on December 25, 1923, he was adopeted at age eleven by to Mac and Grace McCosh in Denver, CO. He graduated from Denver High School and then attended the University of Colorado in Bolder, CO. Robert served his country in World War II entering the US Army on March 28, 1946 and was honorably discharged March 27, 1947.
Robert married Dortha Gross on April 22, 1950. The couple made their home in Dodge City, KS where Robert was a doctor of Chiropractic Medicine for nearly forty years. He moved to McCook in 2005 from Dodge City, Kansas to be with his daughter Linda.
Survivors include his daughters, Linda Schiffelbein and husband, Mike of McCook, Melisa Lewellan of Kansas; son, Robert McCosh, Jr. and his wife Rhonah of Lawrenceville, Georgia; and eight grandchildren three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Dortha.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at Fort McPherson National Cemetery, with inurnment to follow.
