Edith W. Peterson, age 89, died Sunday, April 30, 2006, at Brighton, Colorado.
Edith was born April 29, 1917, to Blaine and Grace (Young) Pugh, in Madison County NE.
She married Paul Peterson at Palisade on January 10, 1937. To this union two children were born, Larry and Donna. She and her husband farmed south of Palisade, Hayes Center and South and North of McCook. She enjoyed playing cards and helped residents at Hillcrest play bingo.
She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Blaine and Grace; husband, Paul in 1985; brothers, Baize, Charles and Dale Pugh.
Survivors include her son, Larry Peterson and wife, Jane of Thornton, CO; daughter, Donna and husband Dennis Wagner of Windsor CO; grandsons Mark Peterson of Dacono, CO; Randy Peterson of Denver, CO, Kyle Wagner and wife Stacy of Fountain, CO; and granddaughter Lindsay Wagner of Longmont, CO.; sisters-in-law, Nelma Pugh of Palisade and Helen Pugh of Whittier, CA.
Memorials may be given in her name.
Funeral services are set for Thursday, May 4, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Randy Wahl officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
