Eloise L Summers

Eloise Lavonne (Ridenour) Summers, age 81, of Imperial, NE, formerly of McCook, NE passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Chase County Community Hospital in Imperial.

Eloise was born May 25, 1938 in North Platte, NE.  She was raised by her grandparents, Hurley and Jesse Abbott in Cabool, MO.

On February 14, 1954 Eloise was united in marriage to John Ridenour.  John preceded her in death on February 24, 1969.  In 1972, Eloise married Asa B. Summers.  He also preceded her death in 1983.

Eloise was a proud wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother who enjoyed being around her family and loved them deeply. She led a very private life.

Eloise was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; both husbands; and a brother, George Bryant.

Those left to celebrate her life include her daughter, Velora (Ted) Zapp of Culbertson, NE; sister, Iona (Robert) Glenn of Springfield, MO; two grandchildren, Heather (Kenny) Adams of Palisade, NE and Shawn (Melanie) Standiford of Curtis, NE; and her seventeen great grandchildren.
