Faye Jeanette Burgett, age 62, died Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at Bryan LGH East in Lincoln.
She was born in Oceanside, CA to Robert L. and Doris J. (Sieu) Greer on February 29, 1948.
She was attending Evangelical Free church.
She enjoyed gardening, quilting and her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Schwing; sister, Catherine; and a son in infancy.
She is survived by her former husband, William Burgett of San Diego, CA; sons, David Schwing, Eric Schwing and wife, Erin all of McCook, Michael Burgett and wife, Christie of Redding, CA; significant other, Don Larson of McCook; sisters, Bobbie Beeson and husband Bob of Santee, CA, Liz White of Imperial Beach, CA, Mary Ann Cross and husband, Bob of Fort Worth, TX; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Evangelical Free Church.
Memorial services will be Thursday, September 23, 2010, 4:00 p.m. Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Bruce Lester officiating. Inurnment will be in California at a later date.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
