Francis J. Kircher died Friday, May 30, 2008 at Good Samaritan Care Center in Arapahoe. He was 84 years old.
On January 8, 1924 he was born in McCook to Fred H. and Anna Marie (Haag) Kircher. He graduated from Red Willow High School in 1942 and farmed all his life northwest of Indianola. He enjoyed hunting.
Francis was a member of St. Catherines Catholic Church in Indianola and the Knights of Columbus.
Proceeding him in death were his parents; brother John and twin brother Freddie; an infant sister, Helen; and sister-in-law Betty.
Survivors include nieces, nephews and their spouses: Jerry and Tina Kircher, Donna Kircher and Kay and Laurn Oltmer all of Indianola; eight great nieces and nephews: Kenton, Shelby, Logan and Emily Kircher and Matthew, Holli, Cara and Bailey Oltmer all of Indianola;
Memorials were to be given in his name.
Rosary took place Sunday at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial was Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Catherines Catholic Church in Indianola with Father Thomas McGuire and Father Robert Barnhill officiating. Burial took place in St. Catherines Cemetery, Indianola.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
