Frank C. Hamilton, age 54 passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at McCook Community Hospital.

Frank was born May 1, 1956 to Roy and Pat (Smith) Hamilton in McCook. He graduated from McCook High School in 1974.

Frank married Norene Chancellor on May 28, 1977 in McCook.

He was a member of the Eagles Club.

Frank loved to cook, barbeque and entertain. He enjoyed hunting and recorded a 5 by 5 Mule Deer in the Boone and Crockett Record Book. Frank loved his grandchildren, he also enjoyed golf, going to the lake, supporting his kids sporting events, Nebraska and Bison football. In his younger years he was a volunteer girl's softball coach.

Frank worked at Allied Oil and Frenchman Valley Coop prior to Valmont for the last 10 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, George Walter; and sister, Sue Ruppert.

He is survived by his wife, Norene of McCook; son, Heath Hamilton and wife, Pam of Trenton; daughter, Ashley Hamilton of McCook, Heather Hamilton of Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Ellen Hockemeier and husband, Ken of Kearney; two grandchildren, Jasmine and Rowen; and nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given in his name.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 6, 2010, 10:30 a.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home with Terry McCorkle officiating. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m., Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to services at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home, McCook, NE.
