Gary Eckhardt, age 89, of McCook, Nebraska died Friday, October 30, 2009.
Gary was born in Edison, Nebraska on July 27, 1920 to George and Zadie Eckhardt. He married Dorothy Kentner on June 1, 1940.
Gary and Dorothy moved to McCook in 1952 and owned and operated the Pow Wow Club and Gary's Steak Barn unti1 1999.
Gary is survived by his wife, Dorothy of McCook; two daughters, Janet and husband, Larry Rich of McCook; Christina and husband, Mike Bannister of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina; one brother, Charles of Versailleses, Missouri; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Gary was cremated and there will be a private family service at a later date.
