Gladys Ann Quigley

Gladys Ann (Dolan) Quigley died Oct. 8, 2015, at her home in Pensacola.

She was born in Stamford, Nebraska, on Oct. 29, 1920, attended rural schools in Frontier and Red Willow counties, graduated from Indianola High School in 1938, and attended McCook College.

In 1940, she married Thomas Kendall Quigley and they lived in many cities, including Sioux City, Iowa, Hutchinson, Kansas, Moorhead, Minnesota, Omaha and Denver, before relocating to Pensacola in retirement.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, William C. and Fern Teel Dolan; brother, Dale (a casualty of World War II); and sister, Lois Dolan Bagshaw.

Survivors include her son, Thomas (Leslie) Quigley of Centreville, Virginia; brothers-in-law, Hale (Dolores) Quigley of Pensacola and Dean Quigley of Seattle; sister-in-law, Marilyn Austin of Charlottesville, Virginia; one granddaughter; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2016 at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Indianola with Father Greg Pawloski officiating.
