Harold Clouse

Harold L. Clouse, age 79, died Thursday, February 15, 2007 at McCook Community Hospital.

He was born December 29, 1927 to Gottleib and Sophie (Ogorzolka) Clouse in Bartley, Nebraska.

He married Beaulah “Boots” (Kramer) Bell in 1952.

He was a member of the Eagles post 2769 and a lifetime member of the VFW post 1652.

He was preceded in death by his parents and step-parents; wife, Beaulah (May 9, 1999); brother, John; sister, Helen; great-grandson, Eric; and step daughter-in-law, Carolyn.

He is survived by his step-sons, Warren Bell and Roger Bell, both of Loveland, CO; step-daughters, Karen Smith, and husband James of McCook, Kay Bell of Hudson, CO, Dianne Alexander and husband, Arden of Liberal, KS; sister Lucille Olhsen of Holdrege; special aunt, Ora Clouse; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given in his name to the Heritage Senior Center.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 19, 2007 at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Terry McCorkle officiating. Burial took place in the Bartley Cemetery

Carpenter Breland Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
