Harry "David" Fahrenbruch, age 64, died Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Bryan LGH East in Lincoln, Nebraska.
He was born, November 9, 1944 in McCook, Nebraska to Harry P. & Doris M. (Covert) Fahrenbruch. David graduated from Culbertson High School in 1963 and Parks Business College in Denver. He lived in this area all his life.
He married Delores June DeVall in Culbertson on November 8, 1964. They have three daughters, Judy, Anne and Christine.
David worked for Southwest Public Power in Palisade for 28 years. He was member of the SWATS, ARC, the Culbertson Town Board, and was a foster parent along with Delores. He enjoyed singing, hunting, fishing, wood working, old cars and oil painting.
Preceding him in death were: his parents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Survivors include: His wife Delores of McCook; daughters, Judy Fahrenbruch of Axtell, Anne Schroat and Christine Fahrenbruch both of McCook; a brother, Dennis Fahrenbruch of Culbertson; one grandchild, Billy Havel; two aunts, Esther Sinner of McCook and Marjorie Schlegel of Culbertson; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
They attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Culbertson until they moved to McCook in 2004. They then attended the McCook Evangelical Free Church.
Funeral services were Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the McCook Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Bruce Lester officiating. Burial took place in the Culbertson Cemetery.
Memorials were to be given to Mosaic at Axtell, Nebraska.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
