Henry "Hank" Mathias Fossen

Henry “Hank” Mathias Fossen died Monday, April 10, 2006, at Hillcrest Nursing Home, he was 92.
He was born May 16, 1913 to Peter and Jennie (Keegan) Fossen in Red Willow County.
He married Pauline Stritt on October 17, 1945 in Indianola. To this union four children were born, Kenneth, Clarence, Larry, and Marcia. He farmed northeast of Indianola until 1985, when they moved into Indianola.
He was a member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Indianola and the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline; his parents, Peter and Jennie; three brothers, Charles, Clarence, and Carl; son-in-law, Jeff Sughroue; and daughter-in-law Lavon Fossen.
Survivors include his sons, Kenneth Fossen and wife, Connie of Omaha, Clarence ”Topper”, of Indianola, and Larry Fossen and wife, Jill of Chaska, Minn; daughter, Marcia Sughroue of Indianola; brother, Leo Fossen of Sarasota, Fl; sister, Helen Walker of Bristol, IN; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Memorials can be given in his name.
Rosary was April 12, 2006 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, with the Funeral Mass following. Funeral services were Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church with Father Paul Witt officiating.
Burial took place in St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Indianola.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
