Jackie Boehm, 69, of McCook died Friday, January 28, 2005 at her home in McCook.
She was born April 25, 1935 to Leo and Anastasia (Wasia) Kotschwar at Hayes Center. She graduated from McCook High School in 1952. She lived in this area most of her life.
On April 25, 1964 she married Charles B. Boehm in McCook.
She was the local office manager for the Volentine Foundation.
She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, McCook D.O.E.S. She volunteered for the American Red Cross and enjoyed time at the lake, her grandchildren, and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband (March 27, 2003); two brothers, Don and Vernon Kotschwar; six sisters, Shirley Slack, Thelma Duckworth, Alice Carlson, Ruth Vieth, Laurine Channel and Phyllis Traphagen.
Survivors include her daughter, Roxanne Arens and husband Kirk of York, PA; two brothers, Kent Kotschwar and wife, Phyllis of McCook and Stanley “Jiggs” Kotschwar and wife, Pat of Stratton; one brother-in-law Bob Vieth of Grand Island; one sister, LaVerna Ely and husband, Wayne of McCook; one sister-in-law, Cecilia Kotschwar of McCook; and two grandchildren, Greyson and Tucker Arens.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home with Father Gary Brethour officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
