James Glenn Randall, age 14, of Trenton passed away on Monday, November 15, 2010, at Children's Hospital in Omaha after a long illness of Muscular Dystrophy.
James was born on May 2, 1996, at Fort Carson Army Base, Colorado Springs, Colorado to Calvin L. and Anna M. (Masur) Randall. He was a member of the eighth grade class at Trenton Schools.
James enjoyed playing video games including PlayStation 2 and racecars. His favorite television show was The Duke's of Hazard. He participated in Special Olympics and loved watching his sister play in sports. He also enjoyed spending time with his beloved pet, Dax, a miniature longhaired Dachshund.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Melvin and JoAnn Masur; paternal grandfather, Glenn Randall; and uncle, Daniel Masur of whom also died of Muscular Dystrophy.
Survivors include his mother, Anna Masur; father, Calvin Randall; sister, Tiffinie Randall; paternal grandmother, Sally Randall; aunts, Mary and husband, Dan Sandberg and Laura and husband, Tom Anderson; uncles, John Masur and wife, Penny, Michael Masur and wife, Katie, Rex Randall and Greg Randall and wife, Rohianie; and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
Memorials may be given in his name.
Visitation will be Friday, November 19, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at St. James Catholic Church in Trenton. Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Friday, November 19, 2010, 2:00 p.m. also at St. James Catholic Church with Father Jim Janovec and Father Val Bartek officiating. Burial will follow in the Culbertson Cemetery.
