Jami Lynn Wilcox, 27, died Saturday (Feb. 28, 2004) at Community Hospital of McCook.
She was born March 31, 1976, to James B. and Rhonda K. (Hartzog) Johnson at Lincoln. She graduated from North Platte High School in 1993, Southeast Community College in Lincoln in 1995 and attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
On June 1, 2002, she married Ryan Wilcox at McCook.
She was a laboratory technician at Community Hospital.
She was a member of the North Platte Presbyterian Church and had lived in McCook since February of 2002.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ruth and Les Whaley and her grandfather-in-law, Robert Crocker.
Survivors include her husband, Ryan and children, Braden, Kassidy and Kailey, all of McCook; her parents, Jim and Rhonda of North Platte; a sister, Mindy and husband, Mike Crow of North Platte; grandparents, Ron and Marylou Hartzog of Ogallala; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob and Cindy Wilcox of McCook; grandparents-in-law, Bob and Phyllis Wilcox and Doris Crocker all of McCook; a sister-in-law, Ashley Wilcox; and two brother-in-laws, Kyle Wilcox and Tyler Wilcox.
Funeral services are Wednesday, 11 a.m., at McCook Christian Church with the Rev. Clark Bates officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation is today and Tuesday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
Memorials are being accepted in her name.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook is in charge of the arrangements.
