Janice E. Peters

Janice E. Peters, age 75, passed away Friday, September 22, 2017 at her home in rural McCook.
Janice was born November 18, 1941 to Daniel and Ruby (Folkers) Kahler in McCook. She graduated from McCook High School in 1959.
On August 20, 1960 she married Wendell Peters in the Quick Church north of McCook. To this union three children were born.
She was a member of the McCook Eagles Club and the Royal Neighbor. She enjoyed playing Bingo and was known for making many pies for family and friends.
Janice is survived by her husband, Wendell Peters of McCook; daughters, Debra (Fred) Petsch and Brenda Peters both of McCook; sister, Barbara Vrbka of Tecumseh, NE.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; one sister; and infant son, Greg.
Family will host a Celebration of Janice’s life at Fullers Restaurant Bar Side on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
