Jeff Davis Lasater, Jr. of McCook died at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Saturday, April 1, 2006. He was 47 years old.
He was born in San Angelo, TX on April 17, 1958 to Jeff Davis and Dorothy LaVerne (Sprinkle) Lasater, Sr. He graduated from McCook High School in 1978. He worked at the Dayco Rubber Hose Plant for 17 years.
He was preceded in death by father.
Survivors include: his mother, Dorothy Blume and step-father, Arthur “PeeWee” Blume; a son, Mitchell Rayan Lasater and a daughter, Bridgett Ray Lasater, both of Kearney; a brother Terry Eugene Lasater and wife Raina of Wauneta and a sister, Kandy Jo D’Rozario and husband Greg of Tampa, FL.
Funeral services were Tuesday, 2 p.m. at the Carpenter Breland Chapel in McCook with Pastor Randy Wahl officiating. Burial took place in the Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials were being accepted in his name.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
