Jimmie Gerard

Jimmie R. Gerard, 55, died March 24, 2004 at his home in Cambridge.

He was born on Dec. 26th 1948, to Marvin and Edna Mae (Nelson) Gerard at Longmont, CO.

He was a child of four. He had two brothers William(Billy), Marvin(Shorty), and a sister Karla.

He lived in Loveland, Colo. most of his life until he moved to McCook Neb. He worked at the rendering plant and was a mechanic.

He lived with his brother Billy and sister-in-law Pat the whole time. He had been sick with diabetes for a long time.

Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers, Billy and Shorty Gerard.

Survivors include his sister, Karla and husband, Robert Istas, of Columbia, MO; sister-in-law, Patricia Gerard of Cambridge; and 8 nieces and nephews and 9 great-nieces and nephews who will always remember him forever.

In lieu of flowers memorials were to be given in his name.

Memorial services were Monday, March 29, 2004, 10:00 a.m. at Carpenter Breland Chapel. Inurnment took place at Riverview Cemetery.

Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
