Kenneth Cameron Cappel, age 48, passed away Friday, September 9, 2005 at the Mosaic at Bethphage Village in Axtell.
Kenny was born on July 25, 1957, at McCook, to Gaylord Paul and Ruth Carol (Guthrie) Cappel. He had been living at Bethphage since 1980.
Kenny enjoyed all the activities at Bethphage. Some of his favorites were bowling, swimming, and going on outings.
Preceding him in death were his father, Gaylord; one brother, Gary; one sister, Dorothy; and grandparents, George and Pauline Cappel and Leland and Charlotta Lottie Guthrie.
Survivors include his mother, Ruth of Benkelman; one brother, Robert of Everett, WA; one sister, Jeanette and husband, Tony Wonderly, of Benkelman; two nephews, Kaleb and Brady Wonderly also of Benkelman; other relatives and a host of friends and staff of Mosiac at Bethphage Village.
Memorials may be given in his name.
Funeral services were at the McCook Evangelical Free Church on Tuesday, September 13, 2005, with Pastor Bruce Lester and Pastor John Gosswein officiating. Burial took place in Riverview Cemetery.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
