Kenneth L. Patton, Jr.

Kenneth Lavern Patton, Jr., age 72, of Grand Junction, CO passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 in Grand Junction.

Kenny was born November 17, 1946, in McCook, NE, to parents Kenneth Lavern and Polly Marie (Bales) Patton, Sr.  Ken was one of four siblings who grew up in McCook, attending and graduating from McCook High School with the Class of 1965.

Following high school, Kenny enlisted in the Nebraska National Guard.  He was discharged in 1972.  Ken also worked as a Deputy Sherriff in Colby, KS.  Kenny was the proud father of four children; Dain, Dustin and Anne Marie, of his own and Mary Sue who he loved as his own.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Georgia Patton.

Those left to celebrate his life include his children, Dain Trosper, Dustin Trosper, Anne Marie Bessler and Mary Sue; his siblings, Gwen Patton Klapal, Barbara Patton Laidman and Michael Patton; nieces and nephews, Scotty, Brenda, Lori, Shelly, Dari, Christopher, and Michael’s two daughters; as well as several cousins and a special aunt, Sherry.
