Kimberly Dawn (Gautier) Jones, age 59, of Pukwana, South Dakota, formerly of Culbertson, Nebraska passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 at her home in Pukwana.
Kim was born May 11, 1963 in Ventura, California to parents Vidal Duane and Alice Gaye (Johnson) Capps. The family moved to Denver, Colorado where Kim grew up and attended George Washington High School.
Kim met Darell Gautier in Denver and the couple were married on December 23, 1994.
Kim drove countless miles trucking around the country with Darell. They also shared a love for Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. Although Kim didn’t have any children of her own, she loved her family and her dogs were her babies. She also enjoyed a friendly game of Bunco with family and friends.
On January 29, 2022 Kim married Jim Jones in Culbertson, Nebraska and followed him back to Pukwana. They enjoyed traveling and spending time together along with the company of their dogs.
Kim was preceded in death by her husband Darell in 2017, and her parents.
Those left to celebrate her life include her husband Jim Jones of Pukwana, SD; step-daughter Amanda (Ted) Clendenen and their children Amelia and Emma of Savannah, GA; brother Daniel Capps; niece Ashley Capps; nephew Kyle Capps; as well as her great-nephews David Kincaid and Lane Capps all of Brighton, CO.
