Koda H. Reiman died Sunday February 12, 2012 at the Sarah Ann Hester Memorial Home in Benkelman, Nebraska.

She was born May 17, 1928 in Stratton, Nebraska the daughter of Herbert and Janet (Morris) Williamson. She grew up on a farm south of Stratton and attended Stratton High School completing the 10th grade.

On November 7, 1945, Koda married Charles Kenneth Reiman in Stratton, Nebraska. They lived in Hitchcock and Dundy counties of Nebraska. Her Lord and family were her first priorities. She was a caregiver to many family members, neighbors and friends. She enjoyed doing ceramics, flower arranging, canning, cooking and gardening. Her home was always open to anyone who stopped by for a visit.

She was preceded in death by husband Kenneth of 48 years; parents, Herbert and Jennie Williamson; and brothers, Roy and George Williamson.

Koda is survived by three children Janet and husband James Glover of Old Hickory, Tennessee; Herbert (Bill) Reiman and wife Judy of Cumberland City, Tennessee and Gloria and husband Wallace Gummere of Stratton. She had 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; two sisters, Berniece and husband Joe Fillmore of Escondito, California and Roseanna Edgett of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Memorials will be used for needed medical equipment at the Sarah Ann Hester Memorial Home.

A rosary will be recited Thursday, February 16, 2012, 7:00 p.m., CST at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Stratton. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, February 17, 2012, 10:30 a.m., CST at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Stratton with Father Thomas Wiedel officiating. Burial will be at the Benkelman Cemetery at 1:00 p.m., CST.

There will not be a public visitation. Friends may go online at www.carpenterbreland.com to extend condolences to the family. Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook is in charge of the arrangements.
