LaDonnia Kay Lindgren, age 71, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Decatur County Good Samaritan Center in Oberlin, KS.
She was born November 14, 1940 to Elmer E. and Virginia E. (Troxell) Lorimer at McCook.
LaDonnia married Leroy W. Lindgren in Winter, SD on April 9, 1956. To this union two children were born. They made their home in Glendale, California where Leroy worked for the International Union Operating Engineers Local 12 operating heavy equipment. Leroy retired in 1979 and moved his family back to Trenton where he purchased the family farm.
She enjoyed gardening, baking and making crafts, but most of all she loved her family and children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Virginia; her husband, Leroy on March 17, 2011; one sister, Delores and; one brother Willard.
She is survived by her son, Darren Lindgren of North Platte; daughter, Jannette Lindgren of McCook; brother, Jack Lorimer and wife, Sandra of McCook; sister, Carrol Ginther and husband, J.R. of Gem, KS; special caregiver, Peanuts of McCook.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Graveside inurnment services will be Thursday, March 22, 2012, 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook, Nebraska with Pastor Lance Clay officiating.
