Larry J Maloof

Larry John (Lala) Maloof, age 51, passed away on June 26,2023 in Sutherland, NE.

Larry was born in Salt Lake City, UT on May 15, 1972.  Larry grew up in Chesterfield, UT and lived there until 2002. He moved to Imperial, NE for a couple of years, then moved to Champion, NE until his health started to fail in 2018. He resided at Hillcrest Nursing home in McCook, NE for rehab for a couple of years.  He then went to Liberty House in North Platte, NE in assisted living. He resided there for a couple of years until his health deteriorated, he then resided at Azria Health in Sutherland for the remainder of his life.

Larry went home to our Lord on June 26,2023. Larry loved music, fishing, camping and horses. Larry loved his daughter Kimberly Brown and his nephews Troy McDaniel and Cody McDaniel.

Larry is survived by his living sisters Sherlynn (James) Kirk of Palisade, NE, and Rhonda (Lamar) McDaniel of West Valley City, UT; his daughter Kimberly Brown of East Carbon, Utah; his son Nate Timms, of West Valley City, UT; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.

Larry was proceeded in death by his parents Edward (Larry) and Jeanene Maloof; his brother Troy Maloof; nephew Samuel McDaniel; niece Cheala Bateman; great niece Kyla Martinez; maternal grandparents Ruth Jorgensen and Doyle Sheppard; paternal grandparents Edward Maloof and Shirley Aerts, aunts Doyleen Iverson and Emily Johnson; and cousin Nyssa Rivera.

Larry will be missed dearly by many!  Thank you to those who took great care of him at Liberty House, and Azria Health!
