Letha Redden

Letha Alberta Redden of Indianola died Monday, January 9, 2006 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook. She was 68 years old.
She was born May 7, 1937 at Buckland, KS to Jim H. and Jessie M. (Scofield) Wright. She married Frank David Redden on July 17, 1954 at St. Francis, KS. To this union six children were born.
She had lived in Indianola since 1958. She attended the First Assembly of God Church in McCook. She raised her family and worked in local restaurants. She enjoyed her grandchildren, watching car racing, football, country western and gospel music.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gailen and daughter Brenda in infancy; son Glenn; one sister, Darlene Welch; and one brother, Wayne.
Survivors include her husband, Frank of Indianola; three sons, Geary and wife Patricia Redden of Imperial, Timothy Redden and Tammie Marts of McCook, and Terry Redden of Kearney; three brothers, Leon and wife Sarah Wright of Indianola, Dave and wife Jennie Wright of St. Francis, KS, and Keith and wife Judy Wright of Hutchinson, KS; one brother-in-law, Dale Welch of Hutchinson, KS; one sister, Nadine Workman and husband Charles of Haigler; three grandsons and one granddaughter.
Memorials may be given in her name.

Memorial services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Eddie Wright officiating. Inurnment will be in the Haigler Cemetery at a later date.
