Linda Sharlaine Stevens

Linda Sharlaine Stevens, age 61, died Monday, February 19, 2007 at her home in McCook.
Linda was born October 11, 1945 to Ronald and Lorraine Stevens in McCook. She grew up with her parents in Indianola and McCook.
Linda moved into S.W.A.T.S residence #2 in March 2000, where she joined the Swatters 4-H Club and entered in Special Olympics. In recent years she moved into residence #4 due to declining health. Linda loved to do word search puzzle books and go to the S.W.A.T.S workshop everyday. Linda never met a stranger, she was always glad to see everyone.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorraine Stevens on Dec. 14, 1997; her father, Ronald Stevens on March 25, 2005; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is survived by her brother, Todd Stevens of McCook; aunt Sharlaine Robarchek of Potwin, KS; cousins, Honey Lou and Darrell Bonor of Hastings, Donald and Beverly McDonald of Henderson, NV, Sharon Morrison of Whitefish, MT, Clayton and Carole Robarchek of Valley Center, KS, Doug Robarchek of Charlotte, NC, Jim, Jerry, Harold and Evelyn Jones of Denver, CO, Lois Jane Guertner of Olympia, WA; and a host of friends.
Memorials may be given in her name.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 22, 2007 1:30 p.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Chapel with Jerry Beckenhauer officiating. Burial was in the Indianola Cemetery.
