Linda Marie Zodrow died Monday, May 31, 2010, at her home in McCook. She was 58 years old.
Linda was born on December 22, 1951, in Oberlin, Kansas to Elmer Leonard and Delores Ann (Moeder) Zodrow. She graduated from Decatur County High School in 1970. A few years later, she continued her education at Central Community College in Grand Island.
She married Terry Roy in Rising City, Nebraska. Linda was employed for many years as a group home assistant for Region 5 in David City. She moved to McCook in 2008 to be closer to her son.
Linda enjoyed knitting, playing cards and bingo. Other hobbies included cooking, sewing, listening to Elvis Presley music, and spending time with her faithful companion and friend, her dog Miss Tammy.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Elmer and Delores Zodrow.
Survivors include her son, Robert Zodrow and wife, Annick, of McCook; and two brothers, Clifford Zodrow and wife, Debbie, of Ft. Ricka, AL and Lenny Zodrow and wife, Jerlyn, of Max.
Memorials were to be given in her name.
Memorial services were Friday, June 4, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Carpenter Breland Chapel with Pastor Jim Stillman officiating.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
